I am a huge fan of SD Spiral Zone keshi, and over the last couple years I have spread my love of them on to others at LRG by selling others my doubles. Being that they are pretty hard to come by and the second series figures being just a little more hard to get I got the offer from a friend to cast up the tank set so he can build an army of them.
Man I gotta start posting more~!.but in all fairness I am coming back from being sick for over a week. **excuses**
I got a few things to preview and am taking a cue from Jimbo and hiding them a bit. (Will have better pics when I have something better to show. )
New UoV figure. I've been working on him for awhile and have reimagined him a few times which has caused a few tear downs and redos. Hopefully i can have some better pics in the next couple days.
Next is a new head for a certain figure. I have a few more things to finish on him before I go a head and cast him, but he is pretty far along. If only I can get the motivation to work on him. Although any motivation i think will be devoted to my new UoV figure as I want him done first. We'll see
Mario keshi is a love of mine so I thought I would share some pics of my Mario keshi shelf. Not my whole collection but what I could fit on the one shelf. haha
It consists of a handful of different series', Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario Land, Super Mario RPG, Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island, and a few misc Nintendo sets.
My good friend Jon Karis, (jkaris) asked if I would be up to do the Header Card art for his up coming release of the next wave of OMFG figures, He has a few of his own Exclusive colors (for LRG ) he will be releasing. I have already contributed and created the header art for his first release of Exclusives, so I thought I might as well make it tradition and keep doing it for him. haha The guy is too nice to say no to. :)
One for the green figures and one for the purple (plum) figures.
and then another piece I contributed for a special upgraded packaging.
**can't show just yet**
I'm not the biggest fan of this release, but i can't wait to own a few of these guys. You can read up more on the October Toys Forum, and you can read up more on Jon's Exclusives over on the LittleRubberGuys Form .
I recently met a new friend (Phil Staszkiw) who loves MUSCLE and actually made a custom Cthulhu Muscle figure about 10 yrs ago. After seeing some of my friend Nama Niku's custom Muscles I had cast for him, he messaged me and wanted to collab on his figure he just had sitting on the shelf. :)
Definitely wasnt the easiest figure to mold, but i love that he came out so well. He will be for sale soon in my store. :)
Early in 2011 my bud Wolf from www.Solarcolordust.com (that sells amazing Glow and Thermal Dust for casting and painting) released two Kitbashed figures in resin colored with his magic dusts, a He-man and a Skeletor. Great figures, but he didnt cast up very many. Now over a year later and Wolf out of the custom figure game, I am collabing with him to re-release them along with Beastman who he didnt get to release originally... this time in Rubber, not Resin. :)
I will be releasing them in normal and neon colors. Wolf will be selling some in Glow and Thermal versions.
In the 80's Topps released a set of mini Garbage Pail Kids figures with candy in small trashbags called Cheap Toys and Crummy Candy. Probably the most iconic character of Garbage Pail Kids in general is Adam bomb. The Cheap Toy version was nice, but didn't have the same feel or even pose that the card had. The toy was standing when he should have been sitting, and he was pretty flat overall, even his cloud. Aaack!
Anyhoo, I decided to fix him change him a bit and have him sitting. So here is my Adam Bomb. :)
